Brief Biography

Prakriti Das received her B.Sc. degree in honours biochemistry from York University in Toronto in 2019. She joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as a graduate student in chemistry in Fall 2019, where (after summer research in the lab) she joined the laboratory of Prof. Scott K. Silverman to study DNAzymes.

Research Interests

In my research project, I am identifying DNAzymes that site-specifically modify peptides and proteins by lysine acylation reactions.
