Brief Biography

Tomas Tricarico was an undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman, with a study abroad semester in Spring 2024 in Stockholm. After graduation, he attended The Ohio State University to obtain his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry.

Research Interests

In my research project, I identified DNAzymes that modify DNA and RNA oligonucleotide nucleobases by acylation.
