Brief Biography

Marissa Castner is an undergraduate student earning her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her sophomore and junior years, she performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman.

Research Interests

My research project pursued the identification of deoxyribozymes that catalyze hydrolysis of ester and amide bonds.
