Brief Biography

Aurora Miranda was an undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. In Summer 2022, she performed undergraduate research as a Snyder Scholar in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman.

Research Interests

In my research project, I characterized DNAzymes that alkylate DNA and RNA nucleobases by reductive amination.
