Brief Biography

Angelina Mannino received her B.A. degree in biology from Bard College in 2024. She joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as a graduate student in biochemistry in Fall 2024, where (after rotations) she joined the laboratory of Prof. Scott K. Silverman to study DNAzymes.

Research Interests

In my research project, I am identifying DNAzymes that modify DNA and RNA oligonucleotide nucleobases by acylation.
